Vignette Alliances Enablement
Vignette recognizes the importance of enabling our partners to be successful, as evidenced by our new Partner Enablement Plan, including both Sales and Technical Enablement. The new Partner Enablement Plan is housed in Vignette University, an online repository of courses including product overviews and updates as well as technical deep dives. Our goal is to help our partners increase their Vignette product knowledge resulting in a capacity to sell and implement Vignette products.
Vignette University offers three components to Partners:

- Technical Enablement – Immersion Learning Path
- Product Updates & Launches – What's New
Sales Enablement
Alliances Sales University is an online, self-paced Learning Path covering a wide range of subjects including:
- Trends & Attributes of Today's Web Sites
- Web Experience Platform
- Social Community
- Vignette Recommendations
- Multichannel Solutions
These courses are intended to be taken, as needed, just-in-time and are hosted by Vignette's Product Management and Product Marketing teams. The goal is for partners to have a better understanding of our products, their key attributes and selling points.
Technical Enablement
The Immersion Learning Path is divided into three parts:
- Lecture Series
- Lab Sessions
- Practicum
Lecture Series
The Lecture Series is approximately 30 to 40 hours of online, self-paced courses, to be taken on demand, as needed. These courses present key concepts, procedures and best practices about each topic. Each Lecture Series has corresponding quizzes and lab hours to apply your knowledge.
Lab Sessions
Lab Sessions are scheduled and conducted online over 10 days. Students have access to lab guides and lab environments, as well as access to an instructor for coaching and questions. Lab Sessions can only be scheduled once the Lecture Series is completed and can be scheduled up to one business day before Lab Sessions are held. Registrations close one business day before the scheduled Lab Sessions.
Practicum
The Practicum is a 5 day, in-classroom, instructor-led Vignette implementation workshop. It involves the supervised practical application of previously studied theory. Mandatory prerequisites include the Lecture Series and Lab Sessions or the completion of an Immersion Course prior to the launch of this Enablement Plan.

Within Vignette University, we house Partner Launches and Updates, to which current partners have access.
