Distance Learning
Vignette Education Services offers interactive online training that combines the benefits of instructor-led training with the convenience of online education. Distance learning sessions allow you to interact with the instructor and view application demonstrations in real time, right from your own desk. This collaborative and interactive learning environment allows you to ask questions as you see tasks demonstrated and receive immediate feedback and coaching. Most classes offer you your own lab environments to perform hands-on activities.

Online Instructor-Led Training System Requirements
To attend an Online Instructor-led course, you will need Internet access, Windows Remote Desktop Client, Centra Client, and a computer with audio capabilities.
Before attending any Vignette distance learning sessions, you must verify that your computing environment meets the minimum requirements. Please test both the Centra Client and the Microsoft Remote Desktop Client to ensure your home/corporate computing environment is configured with the correct services.
- Please use the Vignette Online System Check Utility to test your Centra Client. You will receive an "All System Checks passed!" note to confirm your Centra Client is configured correctly.
- Please use 216.142.83.129:80 to test your Microsoft Remote Desktop Client connectivity over port 80, or 216.142.83.129:3389 to test your Microsoft Remote Desktop Client connectivity over port 3389. Receiving a login screen will validate your Microsoft Remote Desktop Client is configured correctly.
For the session, headsets with microphones are strongly recommended to allow you to verbalize comments/questions; otherwise, you will have to type in questions/responses to the instructor.
After registering for a course, you will receive an email with your user name and password and additional instructions to allow you to access the Online Instructor-led course.
